With Universal Dental Plan, you never have to worry about unexpected, high prices or making a tough decision about delaying needed dental care. That’s because we’ve created an extensive network of top-notch Massachusetts dentists and specialists who offer our members exclusive discounts ranging from 20% to 50% making affordable dental care available for you.


Who is eligible to join the plan?
Universal Dental Plan is available to anyone living in Massachusetts or Connecticut.  We offer individual, couple (liberal definition), family, senior, and group dental plans.  We also offer specially reduced enrollment rates for unions and associations.  We are the best Massachusetts dental plan available.

What if I decide to cancel?
No problem. We have a No Questions Asked cancellation policy.  To cancel, simply send us a brief note at cancellation@universaldentalplan.com. If you are a member paying auto-monthly, your membership and your credit card charge will be stopped the day of the notice. 

What Massachusetts Dentists are available?
Your plan dentist is an established private practitioner in his or her community.  While we are not Boston dental insurance, we have Massachusetts dentists and specialists that can serve all of your oral health care needs who are listed in our Dentist Directory.  Our network covers all of Massachusetts and now Connecticut. 

How does the plan work?

  1. ENROLL in one of our plans.  Upon enrollment, you will receive your membership number—membership is immediate! We will also mail you a hard copy of your ID card.
  2. SELECT one of our Massachusetts dentists of your choice using the Directory of Participating Dentists in your area. 
  3. PRESENT your ID card at the dentist’s office at the time of your appointment.  
  4. PAY your dentist as you normally would, but at the reduced rates listed in our fee schedule. There are never any claim forms with Universal Dental Plan.

Note:  We are not Massachusetts, Connecticut or Boston dental insurance.  We are the affordable alternative to traditional dental insurance as a discount dental plan.
